To drive traffic and links to Saxo’s US Election Hub - a one-stop shop for traders and retail investors to discover what key election milestones would mean for their portfolio.
Strategy
We developed a multi-faceted, 3-month campaign that drew on the expertise of Saxo’s strategists, combined with top tier talent, to create media-worthy, original content across a number of news topics related to the election, including macroeconomics, currency/FX, personal finance and equity markets.
Activation
- Pre-planned, bespoke commentary from Saxo’s senior strategists linked to key election moments & topics
- Reactionary commentary following key election events including presidential debates and the post-election meeting of the Federal Reserve
- A series of interviews with former White House Comms Director and SkyBridge Capital founder, Anthony Scaramucci, who gave us exclusive news headlines as well as bespoke 1-2-1 time with top tier media
Results
Our campaign was incredibly successful, delivering a 25% increase in organic traffic to the website. We achieved almost 250 media articles in titles including Forbes, Telegraph, CNBC, Mirror, Yahoo and Daily Mail, plus 52 high value backlinks - many of which were new URDs for the brand.
