Brief
To drive awareness of the Veezu brand and services across the target region of Yorkshire, focusing on Hull, through engaging and onbrand editorial content of appeal to regional media and localised audiences.
Strategy
PBPR strategically targeted a key commercial period (bank holiday weekend) in order to place Veezu at the centre of news narratives detailing locals’ plans - positioning Veezu as a trusted source of information for localised loyal audienes of titles in a key operational region.
Activation
Executed a targeted survey-led research campaign focusing on Hull and Yorkshire to reveal how well-travelled residents are (or are not) within the region and across the UK and Europe ahead of the May bank holiday
- Respondents, based in Yorkshire, were asked which attractions and landmarks they had visited within the region as well as popular UK and European hotspots, and how they planned to spend the bank holiday weekend
- The campaign shared trends across the region using comparative data that showed how well-travelled residents of Yorkshire are compared to other UK residents
- The campaign content was sent to relevant local and regional target press to create timely and topical media opportunities
Results
Results included coverage in 11 key media titles located within Yorkshire, including key target site, Hull Live.
Of the coverage secured, 50% included backlinks to Veezu’s website, with an average DA of 72, with positive keyword movement visible across key terms including ‘local taxi', ‘Hull taxi companies’ and ‘taxi company near me’
In terms of brand prominence, 100% of coverage included full use of spokesperson quotation and a brand mention, totalling an estimated 39 million coverage views across all published articles.
